Our
Why
Incarceration doesn’t erase our humanity or our hope. The Raíces Prison Book Drive shares the healing power of scripture with incarcerated individuals across the northeastern U.S. Our mission is to remind those behind bars that they are seen, loved, and never too far from God’s grace.
What We Provide
Providing literature in Spanish and English to correctional facilities. Sending letters of encouragement and prayers. Collaborating with chaplains and prison ministries for book donations. Spreading a message of restoration and identity in Christ.
Literature Delivery
Delivering books and Bibles to correctional facilities to promote education and spiritual growth among inmates. Ensuring access to reading materials for personal development and faith enrichment.
Encouragement Letters
Sending handwritten letters of encouragement and prayers to inmates to provide emotional support and spiritual guidance. Offering words of hope and positivity to uplift spirits and foster a sense of connection.
Chaplain Partnerships
Partnering with chaplains and prison ministries to facilitate the delivery of literature and support programs. Engaging with donors to contribute books for inmates, fostering a community dedicated to rehabilitation and faith.

Priority given to those who speak Spanish or have limited English proficiency
